A B O U T  P I E R S  N O L A N

Born in Watford and based in Bedfordshire, singer-songwriter Piers Nolan began his career in 2012 as the frontman of a pop-rock band. Since then, he has performed at major UK festivals including the Isle of Wight Festival, Victorious Festival, and Penn Fest, while also touring extensively across Europe.

 

Reflecting on what inspired his solo career, Nolan explains:
"I was just looking for something different. I started recording songs that felt more personal, without any clear plan of where it might lead. As often happens my mother shared one of my recordings with a friend. Before I knew it, a friend of a friend had passed my number to Tony Hadley (ex-Spandau Ballet frontman). Then out of the blue, Tony was on the phone to me. Since then, Tony has been a huge advocate—always supporting and giving advice. In 2020, he introduced me to producer Gary Stevenson (Go West, Rick Astley, ABC). Everything changed from there - Gary immediately understood my sound, and his production and vision helped shape songs we're truly proud of. We can’t wait to share it with you all!"​​​​
